
With over two decades of experience in law enforcement, Ray Hermosillo began his career in 2001 after completing the Idaho POST Academy. He served as a patrolman for nine years in various specialized roles, including K9 officer, SWAT Team leader, and Field Training Officer. His leadership skills led to a promotion to Sergeant over the patrol division, a role he held for another nine years. In 2019 he transitioned to the Investigations Division, where he currently serves as the division Lieutenant. In this role he has investigated homicides, drug cases, sex abuse cases, burglaries and a wide range of other crimes. He is also certified in digital forensics, adding a critical skillset to his investigative work.
Throughout his career, Ray Hermosillo has been recognized for their dedication and service, receiving multiple awards, including the Chiefs Commendation and Lifesaving awards among others. Outside of work, he enjoys playing sports, working out, fishing, and spending time outdoors during the summer months. Most importantly he loves spending quality time with family.
